CONTROL SYSTEM TECHNICIAN (BASELOAD) Job Description minimum but not limited to: • Monitor existing DCS SIS & GDS systems to identify and resolve any issues. Support callouts planned and unplanned shutdown activities. • Maintain control system inventory list. Follow spare consumption and support lifecycle management tasks. • Carry out minor configuration changes to databases graphics history collection etc. for these systems to ensure operability reliability and easy access to the end users. • Check server event and control system logs daily and report findings to provide accurate data about plant operations. • Maintain OT related to AV Microsoft Security patches and OEM Hotfixes. • Support maintenance department in troubleshooting I/O devices when required. • Support production team in understanding configured logic and performing logic bypasses when required. • Perform network installation system housekeeping and PM activities through continuous monitoring of network health to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and timely troubleshooting. • Monitor automated system backups and perform regular system backups to ensure disaster recovery. • Support ICS Cybersecurity team for DCS/SIS cybersecurity related issues. • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems processes and practices. • Implement all relevant policies processes procedures and instructions to carry out work in a controlled consistent & safe manner. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality health safety ICS cybersecurity and environmental procedures and controls. • Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental and Company requirements policies and standards. • Maintain healthy and inclusive work environment among multi-cultural teams. Education: MANDATORY 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic Engineering/ Control Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Information Technology Engineering or similar discipline Experience Knowledge & Certifications: Required: • MANDATORY 3-5 years in Oil & Gas/petrochemical/fertilizer or similar sector out of which minimum 2 years as a DCS/SIS technician with hands-on experience working with DCS SIS. • MANDATORY Experienced in Interfacing DCS with 3rd party devices through Modbus/ TCP protocol and OPC Unified architecture and/ or Direct Access. • MANDATORY Experienced in IT networking and windows/server environment. • Experience in Emerson DeltaV platform & DeltaV Live. • Experience in Virtualization platform. • CCNA certification.
