Software QA Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Analyst to join our team in Amman Jordan. As a key member of our quality assurance department you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis.

• Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs issues and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met
• Document and report software defects using bug tracking tools
• Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in test case design execution and defect reporting
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and JUnit
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts for testing data-driven applications
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA and TestRail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• ISTQB certification is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
