Description:
As a Big Data Engineer youll design build and scale the data infrastructure behind our platform. Youll work on distributed systems real-time streaming pipelines and production services that handle data at scale.
Responsibilities
Build high-throughput low-latency streaming pipelines
Design and scale distributed data systems
Own services end-to-end (development deployment operations)
Partner with AI and backend teams on real-time data solutions
Optimize performance reliability and observability
Troubleshoot and improve production systems
Job requirements
Qualifications
5 years of backend or data engineering experience
Strong Java skills (Spring Vert.x or similar)
Kafka and stream-processing expertise (Flink Spark Beam Kafka Streams)
Experience with distributed systems microservices and cloud platforms
Strong understanding of performance tuning and observability
Experience with PostgreSQL MySQL Redis and ClickHouse
Ownership mindset and strong engineering fundamentals
Nice to Have
experience
Fintech Background
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar AI development tools
