Job Summary

We are a strong fast-moving group developing advanced AI-driven solutions in some of Palo Alto Networks most innovative areas - the Cortex Platform. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Frontend Engineer with deep technical skills an AI-forward mindset and a passion for creating top-tier user experiences. You will join a team that values clean scalable architecture and high-quality code leveraging AI to accelerate development. Working closely with Product UX and Backend teams you will deliver impactful AI features and intuitive interfaces for complex models that protect our customers from evolving cyber threats.

• Frontend Development & Architecture: Design and development of high-performance scalable user interfaces using React or Angular combined with TypeScript. Contribute significantly to architectural decisions and continuously evolve our core frontend features.

• AI-First Development Evangelism: Build refine and champion AI-powered development practices including automated testing intelligent code reviews and code generation. Leverage AI coding assistants to significantly accelerate delivery timelines and elevate code quality.

• Feature Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of critical core frontend features proactively challenge assumptions and drive development to craft industry-leading user interfaces.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with many Frontend Product UX and Backend teams to accurately translate complex security needs and requirements into intuitive seamless user experiences.

• Mentorship: Guide and mentor other engineers on best practices for modern frontend development and the implementation of AI-first coding methodologies.

Qualifications

• 7 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks specifically Angular or React.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining large-scale complex web applications ideally including rendering data-heavy or AI-driven interfaces.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Proven experience applying AI-powered tools and workflows across planning design implementation testing debugging and refactoring to maximize productivity and code quality.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques and scalable architecture including handling asynchronous data streams and complex state management.
• Experience working in an agile fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and enterprise products - Advantage.
• Experience building AI workflows for development teams - Advantage.
