ملخص الوظيفة

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The selected candidate will establish monitor control and forecast the project and maintenance costs. Prepares cost estimates and rate build-ups monitors budgets commitments actuals and accruals develops ETC/EAC forecasts analyzes cost variances and evaluates the financial impact of variations and change orders. Coordinates with Project Management Planning Procurement Engineering Finance and execution teams to provide accurate cost and commercial reporting and maintain effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review cost estimates budgets rate build-ups and cost baselines for maintenance projects shutdowns turnarounds and additional work.
  • Monitor actual committed accrued and forecast costs against approved budgets and identify variances overruns and commercial risks.
  • Prepare ETC/EAC forecasts and assess the financial impact of changes in scope productivity resources schedule and procurement.
  • Evaluate and manage variations change orders additional works and omissions including pricing rate build-ups and supporting commercial documentation.
  • Review and verify contractor subcontractor vendor and service invoices against approved scope quantities rates purchase orders work orders and contractual terms.
  • Monitor procurement commitments purchase orders subcontract costs and commercial exposure in coordination with Procurement/Buyers.
  • Coordinate with the Planner/Scheduler to align cost forecasts with physical progress schedule performance and remaining work.
  • Maintain accurate cost databases registers forecasts and cost-control records.
  • Analyze planned versus actual cost performance and identify the financial impact of delays productivity losses resource inefficiencies and scope changes.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly cost reports dashboards variance analysis commitment and accrual reports cash-flow forecasts and management commercial reports.
  • Support management with accurate cost forecasting commercial and financial performance information.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:

  • Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of oil & gas experience including 3 years in Cost Engineering or an equivalent cost-control/project-controls function.
  • Experience in maintenance brownfield projects shutdowns turnarounds or industrial facilities preferred.
  • Strong experience in cost estimating rate build-up budgeting cost control and variance analysis.
  • Experience with actual committed accrued ETC and EAC cost management.
  • Competent in change-order/variation evaluation and invoice verification.
  • Knowledge of procurement commitments subcontractor costs cash-flow forecasting and commercial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/SAP and project-controls systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and cost-analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical numerical commercial reporting and communication skills.
