Key Responsibilities
Schedule Development & Maintenance: Develop review and maintain comprehensive project baselines encompassing resource and cost loading utilizing Primavera P6.
Progress Measurement & Updating: Conduct regular schedule updates track actual progress against the baseline and implement standardized progress measurement systems.
Delay Analysis & Claims Management: Perform forensic planning and delay analysis to evaluate contractor Extension of Time (EOT) claims and mitigate schedule risks.
Program-Level Reporting: Support the overarching Project/Program Controls function by generating accurate high-level schedule health reports dashboards and KPI tracking for stakeholders.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely as a PMC / client representative interfacing with contractors consultants and internal teams to resolve scheduling clashes and optimize project delivery timelines.
Total Experience: 10 years of dedicated experience in planning and scheduling roles.
Primavera P6 Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on practical experience using Primavera P6 on complex projects.
Industry Background (Mandatory): Extensive exposure to the construction or infrastructure sectors.
Work Environment: Proven prior experience working in a PMC (Project Management Consultant) or client-side planning role.
Program Controls: Demonstrated experience supporting program-level reporting within a structured Project or Program Controls function.
Mandatory: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Construction or a closely equivalent discipline).
Preferred: Masters degree in Project Management or Construction Management.
Note: Extensive hands-on planning experience on mega-construction or infrastructure projects may substitute for postgraduate studies.
Mandatory:
Primavera P6 (Professional Level) certification or proven advanced proficiency.
Professional training in Planning & Scheduling (specifically covering baseline development schedule updates and progress measurement frameworks).
Preferred Courses / Skills:
Delay Analysis and Claims-Oriented Planning courses (e.g. EOT forensic planning).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex planning data analysis and program reporting.
Distinct Advantage:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or currently working towards it.
Master-level proficiency in critical path method (CPM) scheduling methodologies.
Strong capability in identifying schedule variances and proposing corrective recovery plans.
Ability to present complex scheduling data clearly to executive clients and program managers.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical approach to forensic schedule review.
