As a Software & DevOps Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping our global automation and digitization vision. This hybrid role bridges the gap between traditional software development and modern infrastructure management. You will design develop and deliver scalable software solutions while simultaneously building automating and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure that support them. Your expertise will accelerate our software delivery lifecycle enhance system reliability and ensure robust security practices from code commit to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Architecture

• Design and develop scalable optimized software solutions tailored to internal and external customer needs.
• Apply professional software engineering best practices throughout the SDLC including strict coding standards code reviews unit testing and source control management.
• Develop robust APIs and write highly optimized database queries (Microsoft SQL and MySQL).
• Support production software by debugging issues developing new features and actively contributing to the overall solution roadmap.

Infrastructure & Deployment Automation

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment processes and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement manage and scale containerization solutions using Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes.
• Collaborate directly with development teams to continuously refine application architecture and deployment strategies.
• Integrate security directly into the DevSecOps process by actively analyzing and resolving Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs).

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of strong hands-on experience blending Software Development and DevOps.
• Fluent in English; French is considered a strong plus.

Core Technical Skills

• Software Engineering: Advanced proficiency in Python and the Django framework is a must. Experience with other frameworks/languages (.Net NodeRed React etc.) is highly valued.
• DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Infrastructure & Containers: Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) orchestration (Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Terraform Ansible CloudFormation).
• Systems & Scripting:Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python Bash PowerShell)
• Data & Integration: Expertise in relational databases (Microsoft SQL MySQL) API development and version control systems (Git).
• Security & Networking: Deep understanding of networking concepts security protocols and secure infrastructure deployment.

Methodologies & Soft Skills

• Strong background in Agile frameworks (Scrum SAFe) and service-oriented environments.

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams in different time zones.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies with a strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to software quality.
