Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content accuracy relevance and originality.
- Depending on the creators skill set this might involve taking photographs recording videos designing graphics or creating other visual elements to complement written content.
- Review and refine content for clarity grammar and punctuation ensuring it meets quality standards before publication.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice style and messaging across all content pieces.
- Work with the marketing team to plan a content calendar brainstorm ideas and ensure that the content aligns with broader marketing goals.
- Engage with the target audience by responding to comments questions or feedback related to the content.
- Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to effectively promote and distribute content across various platforms.
- Monitor content performance metrics to gauge its effectiveness and gather insights for improvement.
- Regularly update knowledge on industry trends platform algorithm changes and best practices in content creation.
- Work closely with other departments such as design video production and marketing to ensure cohesive creation and promotion of content.
- Be open to acting upon feedback from peers superiors or the audience to refine content strategies.
- Create a range of content including product descriptions blog articles email campaigns social media posts and multimedia content tailored for e-commerce platforms and audiences.
- Ensure content is consistent with client brand voice style and messaging.
- Conduct industry-specific research to create informed relevant content that resonates with target audiences and encourages online shopping behaviour.
- Stay updated on e-commerce trends platform updates and content best practices to keep the agencys offerings fresh and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in marketing Communications or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Content Creator with a focus on creating digital content strategies.
- Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates a deep understanding of how to write persuasive effective content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience with video scriptwriting and a good understanding of how to write for video ads.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design marketing and project management teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
