Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your operational expertise in a cutting-edge transportation field. Youll work alongside a dynamic and collaborative team of professionals.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Cairo Monorails system. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (from maintenance staff to operations supervisors) manage critical system operations and respond to real-time challenges to ensure passenger safety and service continuity.

Youll specifically take care of overseeing mainline depot and ICS (Integrated Control System) operations but also contribute to emergency management and fault recovery strategies.

Well look to you for:

• Supervising and coordinating schedule regulations to meet operational objectives.

• Managing mainline and depot access train movements and service build-ups/reductions.

• Implementing Work Authorization Procedures for mainline and depot territories.

• Monitoring CCTV systems and managing radio communications for field and maintenance staff deployment.

• Responding to and managing emergencies and fault recovery strategies.

• Overseeing ICS operations including power isolation alarm response and remote device control.

• Coordinating with emergency services and ensuring effective communication during emergencies.

• Maintaining surveillance of system security and monitoring for unusual activities.

• Providing passenger announcements and ensuring smooth station operations.

• Degree in Transportation Engineering or a related field.

• Experience or understanding of control center operations in rail or similar industries.

• Knowledge of safety and operational procedures for rail systems.

• Familiarity with ICS CCTV and radio communication systems.

• A certification in operations or safety management is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
