Business Development Manager (SaaS)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales experience working within startup environments and a strong understanding of the GCC market.

This role is ideal for a hunter who thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys building new business opportunities and has experience selling technology solutions to clients across Saudi Arabia UAE Qatar Kuwait Bahrain and Oman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the GCC region.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of enterprise and mid-market clients.
  • Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
  • Conduct client meetings product demonstrations and business presentations.
  • Develop strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Product and Customer Success teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • 5 years of Business Development or Enterprise Sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company.
  • Strong experience selling to GCC clients particularly Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and closing enterprise deals.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot Salesforce Zoho or similar.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the GCC when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of decision-makers across the GCC.
  • Experience selling AI HRTech FinTech ERP CRM Digital Transformation or Enterprise Software solutions.
  • Experience working with subscription-based business models.
