Lead electrical maintenance activities on offshore oil and gas installations helping your team complete work safely and maintain equipment availability. Employ Global is seeking Electrical Foremen for a potential assignment in Angola.

The opportunity

Support the safe operation and reliability of offshore oil and gas facilities working alongside maintenance and operations colleagues. These opportunities form part of an Angolan national recruitment programme. We encourage suitably qualified Angolan professionals to register their interest.

Your responsibilities

• Organise and supervise electrical maintenance including specialist contractor activities within your area of responsibility.
• Review work preparation participate in risk assessments and toolbox talks and apply permit to work and site safety procedures.
• Coordinate resources and respond to equipment breakdowns to restore correct operation.
• Record interventions and technical reports in the computerised maintenance management system and monitor equipment performance.
• Identify recurring faults recommend improvements to preventive maintenance and spare parts provision and support team knowledge transfer.
• Check work quality and confirm that team members have the skills and authorisations required for their tasks.

What you will bring

• HND HNC BTS DUT or an equivalent relevant technical qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience on oil and gas production installations with relevant electrical expertise.
• Proven experience leading small maintenance teams coordinating contractors and managing work safely.
• SAP R/3 experience and English at Bright 3.5 or equivalent.
• Ability to work offshore in site conditions and collaborate with multicultural teams.

Assignment details

Location: Luanda Angola supporting offshore assignments. These are expressions of interest for a potential assignment subject to contract award and final client approval. Employment terms remuneration rotation start dates and mobilisation arrangements will be confirmed during recruitment. Any role-specific competency work authorisation and safety requirements will be explained before appointment.
